Haruuji Ashikaga starts as an ally for Ujitsuna due to political union between him and Ujitsuna's daughter. Following his father-in-law's death, however, he made an alliance with the Uesugi to defy Ujiyasu.

Role in Games

In Samurai Warriors 3, Haruuji is one of the attackers of Kawagoe Castle. He threatens the safety of the current castle lord, Tsunashige Hōjō. He also appears at the Sagami-Suruga conflict, fighting on the side of the Takeda-Imagawa coalition against Ujiyasu Hojo.
