Jean Bodan (ジャン・ボダン) is a secondary antagonist in The Heroic Legend of Arslan and a non-playable character in Arslan: The Warriors of Legend.

To his countrymen, he is the main voice of their religious faith and their god Yadolaboth. Seeking to spread the Lusitanian faith as the "one true religion", he destroys foreign cultures with book burnings and mass killings with his order of templars. Ecbatana is subjected to his inquisition. Guiscard considers him a nuisance and an unwanted rival to power. The duke swiftly conceives a scandal to exile Bodan and his order, forcing the lot to wander the lands for a new settlement.

The highly devoted of his faith may think like Etoile and believe that their religion may provide salvation for their families or humanity. This elderly man, however, is a radical fanatic who feels his high influence authorizes his heartless and hateful deeds. Bodan is a vindictive and cruel oppressor. He delights in his dominance over the tortured innocents and is immune to remorse. Only the truly corrupt can stand to be in his company.
