Chiharu Sawashiro (沢城 千春, Sawashiro Chiharu, born December 20, 1987 in Tokyo) is a Japanese voice actor and stage actor affiliated with Stay Luck. He works in the same profession as his older sister Miyuki Sawashiro.
Unlike his sibling, the younger Sawashiro initially had little interest in voice acting, having deemed it less popular than performing on stage. At the time, he had been too busy with sports club activities to consider acting even after being scouted by a talent agency. But upon attending university, he began to agonize over his future career in life.
Sawashiro later decided to follow his sister's footsteps and used her connections to enter a vocational school for voice acting lessons. Sawashiro officially entered the voice over industry in 2013 as a freelancer, eventually joining the agencies Object in 2014 and Stay Luck in 2019. Known for his love of sports, he is a big fan of baseball.
When it comes to voice acting, Sawashiro has a wide vocal range that allows him to assume different roles just like his sister. He is quite popular with fans for portraying attractive male leads. So far, he has provided his voice to Ren Wu Sun in Beyblade Burst Evolution, Joe Higashi in The King of Fighters for Girls, and Tosai "Fret" Furesawa in NEO: The World Ends With You.
