X Drake is the Captain of the Marine Secret Special Unit SWORD, and the Drake Pirates Captain allied with the Animal Kingdom Pirates as one of the Headliners. He is one of the Worst Generation of pirates known as the Supernovas.
X Drake first meets the other Supernovas on the Sabaody Archipelago and fights with them against the Marines.
Role in Games[]
When the fourth game lauched, Drake was a Non-Playable Character only fighting in his Allosaurus form. He was later made playable alongside his human form as Speed Type upon the release of the Worst Generation DLC pack. He'll be unlocked immediately after buying it.
Personality[]
As a child, X Drake had a happy go lucky personality and looked up to his father Diez Barrels who was once a powerful and respected marine. However, when Barrels left the navy to become a pirate he became abusive and Drake lost all respect for him. This is what ultimately led to him abandoning them when they were attacked by the Donquixote Pirates. As an adult he is a serious and patient man who avoids senseless violence, though will display it when in his dinosaur form such as when he fought against a Pacifista. Although Donquixote Doflamingo murdered his father, Drake holds no grudge against the former Warlord.

Fighting Style[]
Drake dual-wields a sword and a four-bladed axe, and is quite proficient with them.
Drake has eaten a Zoan-type Devil Fruit of the Ancient subtype called the Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Allosaurus Model. This fruit allows him to transform partially or wholly into an allosaurus, an extinct dinosaur. When in this form, his size increases greatly, and he gains the physical strength of an allosaurus. His attacks become more powerful, and the range of his attacks becomes enlarged.
