Meng You (onyomi: Mō Yū) is Meng Huo's fictional younger brother in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Role in Games[]
In Warriors Orochi and its sequel, Meng You serves as a replacement officer for either Meng Huo or Zhu Rong when players have either character on their attack team.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms[]
During the Southern Campaign of Shu, Meng You fought against Zhuge Liang. During the campaign, Meng You was sent as an "envoy" to the Shu forces for a negotiation between the forces. Secretly, Meng You would collaborate with his brother's forces on the outside and would attack the Shu forces from the inside simultaneously. Zhuge Liang saw through the ploy, and drugged the wine drunk by Meng You and his men. By the time Meng Huo arrived to meet Meng You's forces, he found them all drugged, and Meng Huo was captured shortly afterwards. After Meng Huo kept continuously losing many battles against Shu, he called on the help of King Duosi, who then used the water spring tactic against Zhuge Liang. Meng You ended up later pledging his allegiance to Zhuge Liang, along with his brother.
