Kazuya

Kazuya (カズヤ) is a secondary character in Gitaroo-Man and is the classmate who bullies U-1. He bears a resemblance to Zowie, but the two characters are not related. He is voiced by Douglas Kirk in the English version and by Akira Ishida in the Japanese port.

Kazuya is a natural genius who gets good grades and is popular. He is a bit abrasive, but he is considered to be cool and stylish. He is also a talented skateboarder and can easily outclass U-1 with his tricks. Since Pico likes to hang around him, U-1 considers him as his greatest obstacle and his greatest natural enemy. Kazuya scoffs at the idea and is known for saying, "It's impossible for you" or other similar lines. He is genuinely surprised when U-1 stands up to him in the game's ending.
