Lacus Clyne is the daughter of Plant Supreme Council chairman Siegel Clyne and a popular songstress. She takes good care of Haro, a gift from her fiancee Athrun Zala. Lacus becomes caught up in warfare while preparing a Junius Seven memorial and is taken in by the Archangel and treated as a hostage by the Earth Alliance. Kira Yamato returns her to Athrun and she gives Kira the Freedom Gundam to bring an end to the war and commands the battleship Eternal against ZAFT and the Earth Alliance.
Years after, she assumes a quiet life with Kira in her Orb residence. She soon resolves to terminate conflict once again after an assassination attempt. Upon bestowing Kira the Strike Freedom Gundam, Lacus gives speeches on the battlefield arguing for peace, playing an important part in ending the war. After the war, she returns to PLANT and joins the Supreme Council.
Mission Mode[]
On her first Story Mission in Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2, Lacus seeks out an imposter using her name. She first suspects Loran Cehack. She next fights another suspect, Elpeo Puru. She next takes on Glemy Toto. Another Lacus imposter she fights is Yazan Gable.
On her second Story Mission, she faces off with Kira Yamato. During the fight, she tries to dare Athrun Zala to shoot her down.
In Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3, she first fights in the Those Who Pass By mission Omens of Death then joins Paptimus's alliance.
