Luceus (アクト, Akuto) is the default name for one of the selectable main protagonists in Dragon Quest Heroes. The player can choose to rename him if they select him as their hero. If the player chooses to view the story from Aurora's perspective, he will be called his official name within the game.
Role in Game[]
Luceus is Aurora's childhood friend. He begins his journey after a certain incident strikes the kingdom. He follows his liege into the battlefield.

Dragon Quest Heroes will be the first Dragon Quest title with voiced protagonists. Square-Enix wanted to celebrate the occasion by hiring famous Japanese actors who have been fans of the series. Matsuzaka has been devoted to the series since the sixth title and was surprised when he would have the honor of being the first voiced male protagonist.
Personality[]
He is a thoughtful and righteous individual. His strategies are rather lengthy and he tends to ramble about them as soon as danger strikes. He tries his best to look after his friend.
