Ma Yuanyi (onyomi: Ba Gengi) is a general in the Yellow Turbans and one of the original founders of the Way of Peace. He was ripped apart by chariots after being arrested at Luoyang.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms[]
Ma Yuanyi was one of the many Yellow Scarves recruited by Zhang Jue, Zhang Bao, and Zhang Liang. Among the divisions, he commanded the Large Division and led over 10,000 troops. He gathered soldiers from Jing and Yang provinces and staged an uprising in Ye. In Luoyang, he also made secret alliances with eunuchs Feng Xu and Xu Feng.
On April 3, Ma Yuanyi led a massive riot attacking the capital. The Large Division was concentrated in the Wei commandery. Before Ma Yuanyi can cause an uprising Guangyang and Zhuo, the commanders were lost. The third stage of the rebellion went through Runan, Nanyang, and Yingchuan.
Suddenly, in the spring of 184 AD, Tang Zhou betrayed the Yellow Scarves by writing a messenger to the Emperor about the plot. As a result, Ma Yuanyi was caught and killed via chariots.
