Mystics-woz

Mystics in Musou OROCHI Z. From left to right: Nuwa, Taigong Wang, Fu Xi, Sanzang.

The Mystics are immortal beings led by Susano'o in the Warriors Orochi series. Though many of the generals look human, the mystics originate from a mystic realm (仙界, Senkai; "pure land away from human world") separate from the mortal realm and possess various magical powers. Mystics are often derived from mythology, deities, or popular fictional representations, with many officers of the Mystics army named after star constellations in the English script.

Despite previous attempts to deliver divine punishment and imprison Orochi, their efforts were thwarted, leading to a rethinking of their strategy, as seen in the Warriors Orochi series.

A different mystic army also appears during one of the dream modes in Musou OROCHI Z. In this particular stage, the army aims to prove their might to humanity.

In Warriors Orochi 3, a militant group of mystics, sent by Susano'o to hunt down Da Ji, encounters demons and humans. They return to their realm after Hydra's defeat, aiding humans and uncovering Orochi's origins. In Warriors Orochi 4, the Mystics discover Zeus created Orochi's world using Ouroboros bracelets and Orochi's scythe. They help humans indirectly, but avoid direct confrontation with Olympus to avoid war.
