Phantom Gray (薄墨, Ususumi) is the second available horse in the Power type category for horses. It was said to be named during the Genji and Heiki era, being Noritsune Taira's beloved mount. It is alternatively known as Sumiguro (墨黒) for its dull coat and pure black mane.

How to Unlock

• Samurai Warriors 2: Purchase at the shop for 1,800 gold.
• Samurai Warriors 2: Empires:
• Samurai Warriors 3: Saddle randomly appears as a treasure during stages.
• Samurai Warriors Chronicles: Buy at the shop for 4,000 gold.
• Kessen III: Purchase at the shop for 5,400 gold during chapters 3, 6, 9 and 12. If it is equipped during Rampages, the horse's charge attack will do more damage.
