Raiga (ライガ) and Fuga (フウガ) are former antagonists turned supporting characters in Fist of the North Star. They serve Uighur and guard the gates of Cassandra under the threat of their younger brother Mitsu being a hostage. The two first fight Rei, then Kenshiro whom they soon recognize to be their hope for freedom. Uighur then nearly has Mitsu fed to his eagle, and the latter prepares to accept his fate. However, Raiga and Fuga break down the gates for Kenshiro to pass through. After Uighur is killed, Raiga and Fuga are reunited with Mitsu, but soon learn of Ken-Oh's Execution Squad arriving at the prison.
Instead of showing fear, Raiga and Fuga convince the prisoners and guards to rise against Ken-Oh. The two brothers chase Zarqa and Qasim to the only entrance to the building Toki is being held in. Seeing this, the execution commanders activate a trap and attempt to drop a concrete rock to block off the entrance so Kenshiro would never see Toki again, but Raiga and Fuga hold it up bravely. Zarqa then tortures the brothers to death, but Kenshiro sees Raiga and Fuga had survived long enough for Ken to meet with Toki.
Fighting Style[]
Raiga and Fuga's fighting style, Nishin Furai Ken can only mastered by two who share the same blood and looks. This fighting style produces wires that anyone caught between the two will be cut to bits.
