Premium Box Exclusive[]

Purchase the Premium Box version of the game to receive a downloadable code. When used, this allows players to build a ninja village for their castle town. Its function may be similar to its Nobunaga's Ambition counterpart by allowing players to raise their ninja troops for espionage missions.

Mini Character Banner Collection ~Tokugawa Version~[]

Reserve the title before its purchase date to receive a downloadable code. This grants permission to obtain banners of the uniquely playable Tokugawa characters to decorate the player's castle fortifications.

Lets players choose an environment for their castle grounds that mimics China's Mount Emei.

Castle Parts and Mini Character Collection 01[]

Players can collect two Romance of the Three Kingdoms building parts, Stone Sentinels (increases maximum troop limit) and Wooden Oxen (increases happiness).

Players can also collect six mini character banners, ala the previous Tokugawa set.

Castle Parts and Mini Character Collection 02[]

Players can collect two building parts, Mount Fuji (increases limits of public order) and Thousand-Year-Old Sakura (raises population). These objects are harmony themed additions.

Downloadable Scenarios 01[]

Two original scenarios. One is the Itsukushima Conflict which takes place five years before Okehazama. Just like the Nobunaga's struggle, the player can fight through Motonari's similar near-death experience and defeat his foreboding oppression. The other, Tenka Fubu, is Nobunaga's conquest for the land after conquering Mino.

Castle Map 02[]

Lets players choose a kitty themed environment for their castle grounds. It's somewhat reminiscent of the Samurai Cats art style.

Castle Parts and Mini Character Collection 03[]

Players can collect two building parts, Lucky Cat (increases economy) and Izumo Grand Shrine (raises recovery rate for fatigued troops). These objects are harmony themed additions.

Players can also collect six mini character banners. This set includes Katsuie, Oichi, Kenshin, Ginchiyo, Kanetsugu and Aya.

Castle Parts and Mini Character Collection 04[]

Players can collect two building parts, Ferris Wheel (increases economy) and Roller Coaster (boosts happiness). These objects are recreational themed additions.

Players can also collect six mini character banners. This set includes Muneshige, Hideyoshi, Hanbei, Mitsunari, Sakon, and Yoshihiro.

Tie-in Collaboration 01[]

Players can collect two mascot characters for Sato Pharmaceutical and Hokto Corporation. Sato-chan raises the public happiness ratings while Hokuto-kun boosts the recovery rate of troops. Part of a collaboration effort between the three companies.

Downloadable Scenarios 02[]

There are two different scenarios to choose from. The first scenario takes place in Japan before the Battle of Sekigahara. Players can pick different clans, including those who are not involved in the conflict. The second scenario is a "what if?" situation where every playable character is a daimyo and they compete to unite the land.

Tie-in Collaboration 02[]

Players can collect two building parts for related to Colowide Co. and Bushidoroad. They can either build an Italian restaurant called La Pausa (increases troop recovery rate) or a building called Card Fight! Vanguard (increases troop number). Part of a collaboration effort between the three companies.

Castle Parts and Mini Character Collection 05[]

Players can collect two Wonders of the World, the Coliseum (boosts army strength) and a Giza Pyramid (raises public order).

Players can also collect six mini character banners. This set includes Kanbei, Motochika, Mitsuhide, Nene, Masanori and Kiyomasa.

Tie-in Collaboration 03[]

Players can collect two building parts for related to JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation and Construction Resource Research Company Corporation Limited. They can either build an ENEOS Card building (increase earnings) or a Nikken Academy (increases troop recovery rate). Part of a collaboration effort between the three companies.

Castle Parts and Mini Character Collection 06[]

Players can collect three castle parts shaped after yōkai, or supernatural creatures, in Japanese mythology: yukinko (raises population), kappa (cuts costs of creating new buildings), and Namahage (boosts public order).

Players can also collect six mini character banners. This set includes Shingen, Gracia, Motonari, Okuni, Yukimura, and Kunoichi.

Tie-in Collaboration 04[]

Players can collect their own Domino's for their castle grounds. Building it increases the amount of happiness with the populace. Part of a collaboration effort between Koei-Tecmo and Domino's Pizza.

Battle of Arioka Castle[]

Nobunaga's vassal, Murashige Araki, has rebelled against his master and stations himself within Arioka Castle. Kanbei is sent in an attempt to mediate with Murashige but is held prisoner against his will. During the subjugation of the castle, Hanbei and Gracia seek to rescue Kanbei from harm's way.

Mitsuhide, who only wants the best for his daughter, is seeking a proper husband for her. Angered by her father's thoughtless neglect regarding her permission or feelings on the manner, Gracia defies Mitsuhide and her possible suitors with Magoichi's support.

The soothing humdrum of the capital is bombarded with unruly bustling and tussling. Okuni, Keiji and Kanetsugu team up to restore peace in the streets.

Motonari's Change / Motonari's Machinations[]

One day, the Tachibana clan heads, Muneshige and Ginchiyo, receive a spontaneous invitation from the thought-to-be-dead Motonari. The letter states Motonari has prepared something entertaining for them and asks that they come prepared for battle. What awaits the them is an interesting quizzing session to test the player's attention to historical facts of the time period.

War in the West (Western army) / Championship Match[]

After Honnōji, Hideyoshi has nearly conquered every sector of the land for himself. Now all that remains is Shikoku and the Kyushu islands. Deciding to join forces and resist to the end, Yoshihiro, Motochika and Muneshige stand to defend their home. The battle doubles as a competition for who is truly the greatest in the land: Muneshige of the west or Tadakatsu of the east.

Kanto Trio vs. Three Unifiers / Heroes Collide[]

Shingen, Kenshin and Ujiyasu have joined forces within Kanto. They desire to simultaneously test their wits against the Three Unifiers: Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and Ieyasu.

Trivia[]

All Gaiden battles excluding Battle of Arioka Castle which has a year of 1578, have a year of ???? and the War in the West / Championship Match the player can only side with the Western Army yet on the selection screen it lists Select Army with the Eastern Army also being listed as ????.

September 20th set[]

Two new edit costume parts for protagonists.

Three music tracks from Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends can be downloaded: Komaki-Nagakute, Dilemma, and Mercenary Mode -Important Request-.

September 27th set[]

Two new edit costume parts for protagonists.

The first music pack includes music from Samurai Warriors 3 with the tracks Chance to Win, Haste, and Amaterasu. The second music pack has the Samurai Warriors Katana versions of Indomitable, The Capital, and Kyushu.

A new scenario pits the elderly characters against the younger ones in the playable cast. The protagonist sides with the veteran half of the conflict. Yoshimoto, Shingen, and Ujiyasu are their team members.

Costumes, music packs, and scenario are sold separately.

October 4th set[]

A new scenario at Anegawa. The protagonist sides with the Azai/Asakura army for the conflict. Nagamasa, Oichi, and Takatora are their team members.

October 11th set[]

A new scenario which tests the intelligence of the player. The protagonist and his/her team must correctly answer a series of questions to appease the Sea King. Allegedly, the entity will then grant any wish they can fathom. Masanori, Hanbei, and Kiyomasa are their initial team members.

Additional Novice difficulty for the main story mode.
B rank has been adjusted as the baseline for clearing missions in the multi-player mode.

October 18th set[]

A new scenario surrounding the kidnapping of Ieyasu's granddaughter, Senhime. The protagonist works together with Munenori to rescue her from ninja and to punish the real mastermind.

October 25th set[]

Unlocks the other side of the September 27th scenario. The protagonist works together with Masamune, Yukimura, and Munenori to prove themselves to their elders.

November 1st set[]

A scenario revisiting the "Beauty Contest" between the ladies and Ranmaru in the series. The player can only use Naotora for their first playthrough, as peer pressure eggs her to fight for her reputation.

Pre-Order Bonus[]

Those who pre-order first print versions of the game will receive a downloadable serial code which provides a costume for Yukimura Sanada based on his appearance from the first Samurai Warriors title. This costume is also included in Samurai Warriors Set 1 and as a part of the Special Anime Pack international release of the game.
