Shinn Asuka is the main protagonist and anti-hero of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. After losing his family in thr war between Orb and the Earth Alliance, Shinn joins ZAFT using the Impulse Gundam. Quickly proving himself an ace pilot, he is eventually assigned to the Destiny Gundam. Like Kira Yamato, he wields the SEED factor and can dramatically enhance his combat capabilities. After losing his first lover Stella Loussier to Kira, he manages to take out the Freedom Gundam in a fit of rage and Athrun Zala when he betrays ZAFT. During the final battle, the Destiny Gundam is crippled by Athrun and the Infinite Justice Gundam. Soon after, Shinn reconciles with Kira.
Mission Mode[]
In his story mission in Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2, Shinn first starts by working with Kamille Bidan and rescuing Loran Cehack from a battlefield. During the second story, while fighting the Titans, he scolds Loran for thinking he can end the fight by fighting. On his third story mission, Shinn protects the Argama while resuming his war against Kira and Athrun. On his fourth mission, Kamille believes to Shinn there is a source of fighting, hoping they will end it all. They soon confront Haman Karn thinking her to be the source. On the final story mission, Shinn confronts a large army being left by Paptimus and Gym Ghingham. During the fighting, Lacus tries to walk the factions down. Then, Shinn has one final showdown with Athrun and Kira.
Personality[]
After losing his family in the First EA-PLANT War, Shinn grew to be impulsive, stubborn, hot-tempered, and arrogant even to his friends and superior officers.
