Neoromance abridged; Musou version[]
It's easy for DW7 fans to experience how Neoromance voice acting is like.
- Play a character in Conquest Mode.
- Max out a bond with the following characters: Sima Yi, Sun Jian, Lu Xun, Gan Ning, Guan Suo, Ling Tong, Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan, Xiahou Ba, Ma Dai, Zhang Fei, Zhong Hui, Lu Bu.
- Turn on the Japanese voice option and listen to their max bond quotes.
- Or if you don't want to know what they say and just want to listen, you can log in at Niconico Douga and see oden-san's video for the cast: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm13942234 (men start after the ladies: 3:43 mark)
- The marriage quotes in DW6E and the max bond quotes in DW5XL are also good candidates, at least in Japanese. Most of the sweetness is cut out in the English versions.
SWChronicles is especially guilty of this since it's all in Japanese.
- Max out bonds with any male character using a female protagonist. Characters who sound the most Neoromance-like are Mitsunari, Yukimura, Kiyomasa, Motonari, Keiji (kinda), Nagamasa, and Muneshige.
This is why Japanese fans are somewhat clamoring for a Neoromance Musou game. Fans either want a Musou version for the Neoromance franchises or a dating sim, romance game with the Musou characters. It's also a joking type of label for the somewhat out of character lovely sounding quotes the characters say, which is "Koei's true colors". Sake neko 04:25, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
Japanese fan event[]
Unofficial Koei music event Koei Festa. It's not official but neat to think Japanese fans who can't afford the live stage events still want to celebrate somehow. Sake neko (talk) 03:39, October 25, 2015 (UTC)
